The main idea of this article is relevant because it is about one of the candidates for office and how they really have no substance or answers to any issues and are basically leaving votes to chance. Also This shows how scary a world would be if a candidate like this is even considered for office considering his only strategy is to belittle and bully his way into office.

Trump," What do you have to lose"- Xavier Rivera
In my article, “Donald Trump to African American and Hispanic voters: ‘What do you have to lose?’ it was about how Donald Trump told African-American and Hispanic voters that their lives are awful and that they are not safe under the democrats and that why not just go ahead and vote for Trump because he will change everything and solve their problems. Also the article talks about how Hillary Clinton will not care about the black voice and will only care every 4 years like every other democrat when it is time to vote.

This article applies to what we are studying now because it is correlated to L.I.E.S. These two things are directly correlated because L.I.E.S is about what core values should be and Trump is talking about who cares about values or morals just vote for me so I can be in office. Also it relates to L.I.E.S because he is taking away equality by saying that blacks and hispanics are poor and that there is nothing they can do about it so why not just vote for him and let him try and fix it. If you were a black or Hispanic voter would you vote for Trump based on this article. Explain why?

ReplyDeleteIf I were a black voter, I would not vote for Donald Trump. I do not think that his outreach is meaningful, or honest.
